Spring at Garden of Morning Calm

This is just another trip to one of my favorite gardens in Korea. I’m sure you’ve seen that I’ve been here many times. It is my goal, before I leave Korea, to come during every season. So far, I’ve only been during spring and summer. Time to hit it up during fall and winter!

I took the metro up to Gapyeong and took a taxi from there to the garden. It was drizzling, but I still enjoyed my time here. The first part of the garden was filled with tulips, ferns, and bleeding hearts.

The second part of the garden was a conglomeration of western gardens, Korean-style gardens, a cottage garden, etc. It was nice to see the areas that I have already visited filled with different plants/flowers than before.

We had planned to go to Nami Island as well, but it was rainy and it was quickly getting darker. We had left Seoul too late to go, so I plan to come back in the fall to see both Garden of Morning Calm and Nami Island.
