Spring at Namsan Park

After work, I made up my mind to go up to Namsan Park while the flowers are blooming. There is a bus that goes right up to Namsan Park and stops outside of the Grand Hyatt Seoul. Since it is up a steep hill, the public transportation is the smaller green buses that regularly circuit through the area.

When I got off the bus, I spotted a giant blossoming tree right away. The petals were slowly drifting from the tree when the breeze would go through. It was truly beautiful. I really enjoyed this area, because there weren’t a bunch of people there.

Walking across the bridge, I came upon a grove of flowering trees, beds filled with different types of flowers, and a small stream that wound alongside the mountain-side path.

I believe that this is another place to add to your must-visit places during the springtime. It’s so peaceful and not crowded with all the people pushing to get their best shot for Instagram.

P.S. do you see the dog in the photo above?
