A Day Trip to Daegu
I took a quick trip down to Daegu this past weekend. The weather was, thankfully, warmer than Yeoju so I didn't freeze to death while wandering around outside.
I took the KTX in the morning from Seoul to Dongdaegu where I hopped on the metro and a bus to get to Apsan Park. I was crunched for time so I took the cable car up and down the mountain. The view was spectacular, but I hurried because a chilling wind almost blew me off the mountain.

I stopped briefly in an area with lots of cafes and shopping streets to visit Ghost Books. The bookstore was filled with artsy books and some artwork. I wished I had room to buy a few of the books.

I was desperately in need of a little rest, so I took the bus over to Ognimemo Cafe. It was located in a neighborhood and I enjoyed the whole cafe to myself for a while before people started pouring in. Definitely recommend the pumpkin pound cake and toffee nut latte.

I walked over to Kim Kwang Suk Street to view the murals all along the street dedicated to this musician. I loved seeing all the art and musicians playing his music.

I had to hurry back to the station to take the KTX back to Seoul. I am definitely planning on coming back sometime in the future, because there are still so many places I want to visit.
