Christmas Tree Hunting
This winter, my siblings and I drove up to the mountains and walked through the forest to find a Christmas tree. Thankfully my brother packed snowshoes, because the snow was at least up to our hips. We trekked up to the top of the mountain where we could see a cloud inversion and over all the trees. The snow was glistening and you could see the individual snowflakes on the top layer. It was a fun excursion looking at the trees and finally deciding on one. We cut it down and then dragged it to our car where we had to roll it onto the top of the car. Definitely a memorable first Christmas back in the States!
