Visiting Joongrang Rose Garden

‘Tis the season for blooming roses, so that calls for a visit to Joongrang Rose Garden (중랑장미공원). This was my first time visiting this area. It is located outside of Taereung Station. There were tons of people walking around since it is the prime time for roses. The tunnel of roses was unbelievably long. I just continued to walk and walk for a long time. The tunnel consisted of different roses ranging from white to red. There was a huge rose garden there, too. It was very impressive and had more varieties of roses.

After walking through the tunnel we descended closer to the river where there were more rose gardens and also a canola field. It was amazing to see so many colorful flowers in such a large space. However, it was fairly hot so I was impatient to get out of the hot weather and cool down. I was very impressed by this area, and would recommend it to anyone who likes enjoying the spring flowers.
