Visiting Seoul Botanical Garden
Another abnormal, rainy day in Seoul. Since it was forecasted to rain all day, I decided to take a trip to Seoul Botanical Garden. It’s on the outskirts of Seoul; not far from Gimpo Airport. The garden is easily accessible from Magongnaru Station.
After paying the small entrance fee, we entered the outdoor garden. There is a small creek that winds through the area. All along the creek were different varieties of Iris. They were stunning. It was so cool to see so many different colors. There was also a rock garden and a rose garden. The roses were huge and also in a huge range of color. It was nice strolling around the outdoor garden, even though it was drizzling a bit.
After finishing the outdoor garden, I made my way to the indoor garden area. The garden featured two different areas: a desert area and a more tropical area. Both were impressive and reminded me of smaller versions of Singapore’s Gardens by the Bay. I climbed up to the second floor and took the skywalk to view everything in the tropical garden from above. The garden was a nice adventure to the outskirts of Seoul and a way to enjoy a rainy day.
