A Day in Eunpyeong Hanok Village
You’ve heard of Seoul’s Bukchon Hanok Village, right? However, have you heard of Seoul’s Eunpyeong Hanok Village in northern Seoul? Bukchon Hanok Village is well-known as a tourist spot where many people go to dress up in hanbok (Korean traditional apparel) and take photos.
Eunpyeong Hanok Village is another Hanok Village near Bukhansan. It is quieter and has many nice cafes around the area.
After walking around the village we stopped in Bukhansan Atelier for some scones and beverages. There was a wild bird stuck inside the cafe that was just flying around the cafe.
After finishing, we walked towards the entrance and went to 1인1잔. It is a multi-storey building that featured a cafe, an upscale restaurant, and a rooftop cafe. From the building, the view of the hanok village with the mountains looming in the background was truly magnificent. I couldn’t take my eyes off the sight. We ordered some ades and also bought some rice cake.
The last place on our itinerary was going to Longbread for some delicious food. I had a refreshing salad and smoothie. It was indeed a relaxing getaway from the hustle and bustle of downtown Seoul.
