Visiting Olympic Park
In the morning, I decided to go to Olympic Park to take photos. I saw on Instagram that the cosmos were finally in bloom, so I wanted to catch them on a good day and before they withered away.
This park is a whole hour away because it is on the total opposite side of Seoul from where I reside. Before I knew it, I had arrived. The weather had, thankfully, cooled down considerably from when I had gotten off of work. I took the enjoyable walk to the rose gardens. They were still in full bloom, and I loved how the golden hour was hitting the flowers. I climbed up the stairs and came upon the field of cosmos.
Seeing the cosmos is a truly wonderful sight. It feels like entering a forest; just with lots of other people present. A couple asked me to take their photo, and I happily obliged, before continuing on my way. I strolled around the area while admiring the flowers, the bees, the hummingbird moths, and the happy people. I took my time there, before heading back to the rose garden to shoot some more photos before it became dark.
Although the travel time wasn’t ideal, it was unquestionably worth the trip. I enjoyed the time at the garden and it was a fun trip to break up the constant work-home-sleep-repeat schedule.
