Visiting Seoul Forest & the Han River

Last weekend I decided to go up to Seoul for the day and explore some parts that I haven't seen yet. I did a bit of shopping before making my way to Seoul Forest.

It was very calm, and many people were just enjoying their weekend. I loved seeing some nature and enjoyed the shade from the hot sun.

I also ran into some cute rabbits and deer just lounging in their pens.

After walking around Seoul Forest, I strolled across the connecting bridge from the forest to Hangang (the Han River).

It was so nice strolling along while observing all the people biking, running, and walking on the path near the river. It was gorgeous weather-wise. Bikes are for rent, so that's a nice option to have if you like biking.

I walked all the way to Ttukseom Hangang Park 뚝섬한강공원 where I entered Jabeolle (J-Bug) to grab a refreshing glass of grapefruit ade. Not only is there a cafe, but also a tea shop, gift shop, art exhibitions, and books to read.

It slowly got darker as the evening went by. I watched the sun set along with all the other people picnicking on the grass. I was stunned by how beautiful it was there.

Everyone was enjoying chicken and beer, but I wandered over to the Music Fountain and then enjoyed the city lights at night. Some people were fishing or setting off fireworks near the river.

Definitely looking forward to going back, and maybe even riding bikes along the river.
